Brantford is a thriving community with a population of approximately 90,000 people. The city’s central location makes it an ideal place to live, work, and play.

The County of Brant has many pleasant communities within it. It is rich in agriculture, has many natural attractions and plenty of history. Brantford•Brant has many forms of entertainment available to its residents. It is home of the magnificent Sanderson Centre which is a historical theatre with beautiful architecture and seating for 1133.

The Brantford OLG Casino offers exciting gaming thrills 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

The Trans Canada Trail, runs through Brantford•Brant offering excellent opportunities for hiking and biking. The historic Grand River runs through both city and country areas with over 40 km of fun filled activities that include fishing, canoeing, bicycling, and hiking.

The Brantford Farmers Market is a special part of the community that has been serving Brantford since 1848. The market provides such products as:

  •  Flowers
  • Original art

The market has many ethnic products, with new products and vendors always being introduced.Try one of many restaurants or shop in one of our specialty or antique shops.

The Brantford Farmers' Market was established in 1847. It is one of the oldest businesses in Brantford and has a very long history with many interesting stories, and people crossing its path. The Market has been at its current location since 1965 and is open Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. year round.
